The Journey Behind the Work
I’ve always been driven by growth, independence & the desire to build something meaningful.
From a young age, I naturally gravitated toward business. Whether it was buying and selling toy cars, Beyblades, or Pokémon cards in primary school, I was always looking for opportunities to create value & make something happen. That early curiosity evolved over time through selling electronics, old phones & eventually moving into online platforms like eBay and Gumtree, where I began testing products, understanding markets & learning what actually sells.
Alongside this, I built a professional career in the optician industry from my mid-teens, later transitioning into contract-based work. While it provided stability & structure, I always knew I wanted more, more challenge, more growth & more control over my future. This led me to explore multiple industries including property, marketing, digital ventures, product distribution & creative work such as photography.
I’ve never been afraid to try, fail & adapt. That willingness has allowed me to gain a broad perspective across different markets, understand how businesses operate at various levels & develop a strong sense of strategy & opportunity. Over the years, I’ve also supported & advised others in their own journeys. Many of whom have gone on to grow & succeed, which is something I take real pride in.
However, one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that doing everything can hold you back from building something truly impactful.
Today, my focus is on transition, moving from scattered hustles to structured, scalable ventures. I’m committed to building with intention, creating long-term value & surrounding myself with the right people to execute at a higher level. This means focusing on key projects, leveraging strategy & understanding the importance of systems, capital & delegation.
I’m now stepping forward more openly. Not just to grow personally, but to connect, collaborate & create opportunities with like-minded individuals.

behind the name
Imran was born & raised in the London Borough of Hackney. Growing up, he developed a strong passion for Chelsea Football Club, a loyalty inherited from his father, a devoted fan. Attending matches together regularly, football became a meaningful part of his upbringing aswell as other sports.
In a community where most people supported teams like Manchester United, Arsenal FC & others, Imran stood out as one of the only Chelsea supporters. This led to his friends giving him the nickname “Chelsea” which eventually stuck. Over time, some called him 'Imran,' others 'Chelsea' so he naturally combined the two & adopted the name 'Imran Chelsea'.
The name not only reflects his identity & story but is also simple, memorable & globally easy to pronounce, helping him stand out personally & professionally.
His family name, K, traces back to a family history rooted in clothing (Kapra) merchants & business, reflecting a legacy of entrepreneurship that has pleasant however anoyingly influenced his mindset & ambitions.
